Perennial examines cyclical time through a four-part seasonal structure. Rather than presenting time as linear progression, the series constructs a loop in which transition and renewal coexist.
Each composition layers two seasonal states within a single frame, allowing them to move between foreground and background without hierarchy. Succession collapses into simultaneity, emphasizing continuity between return and progression.
